Sunshine Recycling, Inc., an Orlando, Florida, dumpster rental and construction recycling company, has been contracted to provide waste management during construction of South Lake Hospital’s new freestanding emergency department in Clermont.
This past June, South Lake Hospital broke ground on a $13 million freestanding emergency room at 550 U.S. Highway 27, just north of U.S. Highway 192 in Clermont, Florida. Sunshine Recycling, Inc., an Orlando dumpster rental and construction recycling company, has been contracted to provide waste management and recycling during construction of the facility, which is expected to be completed by January 2018.
The general contractor, Schmid Construction, has enlisted Sunshine’s services to manage the waste and debris that will be created throughout the duration of the construction. Sunshine will be supplying roll-off dumpsters for demolition and construction debris, along with portable toilets and tanks.
“This new emergency room is very much needed, and we’re very excited to be part of this project,” says Chuck Herb, owner of Sunshine Recycling. “Lake County, which the city of Clermont is part of, has been growing rapidly. Some estimates predict Lake County’s population to increase more than 12 percent during the next four years. This new emergency room will provide area residents with improved access to health care—right in their own neighborhood.”
In addition to the new South Lake Hospital emergency room, Sunshine Recycling of Orlando has been involved with a number of other construction projects in recent years.
